SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions on the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering solutions including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it is actually alarmed about the superior amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose on the Integrated Registration website Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The provider issue produced sassa status for intervention encounters a significant inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for that Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to empower the servicing of all shoppers and maximize access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
